Debra Wolfel, M.A., Executive Director/CEO
Ms. Wolfel joined The Cerebral Palsy League as Principal of The Jardine Academy in 1995,having had more than 20 years of experience as a Special Educator and School Administrator. She assumed responsibility as Executive Director and CEO in 2000. Ms. Wolfel holds a B. A in Special Education and M.A. in Educational Administration from Kean University. She is a certified by NJ Department of Education as a Teacher of Children with Disabilities and a School Principal. She is an active advocate for persons with disabilities and contributing member of ASAH and the Alliance for Citizens with Disabilities (ABCD). Louis Brigando, M.B.A., Associate Executive Director
With over 30 years of Healthcare related Human Resource Management experience, Louis Brigando joined the Executive Management Team in 2001. He holds a B.A. in Psychology from Pace University, and M.B.A. in Industrial Psychology from Bernard Baruch College. Charles Zalewski, M.B.A., Chief Financial Officer
Charles (Chuck) Zalewski holds a B.A. in Accounting from William Paterson University and an M.B.A. in Finance from Montclair State University. He brings over 15 years of experience in Accounting and Financial Management to the League's Executive Team. Chuck was appointed The Cerebral Palsy League's Chief Financial Officer in 2004. Patricia Tekel, M.A., Director of Programs and Services
Ms. Tekel began her career at The Cerebral Palsy League in 1994, as a Teacher of Children with Disabilities at the Jardine Academy Union Campus. Patricia advanced to the position of School Principal in 2000 and in 2005 was appointed Director of Programs and Services. Ms Tekel earned a B.A in Special Education and an M.A. in Educational Administration from Kean University in 2000.
