Kaleidoscope Early Intervention

The Cerebral Palsy League recognizes that the first few years of a baby’s life may be exciting but challenging at the same time. For parents of a child with a developmental delay, this time may be particularly stressful, but there is help.

The Cerebral Palsy League’s Kaleidoscope Early Intervention practitioners work diligently to address the very special challenges of children with developmental needs. Kaleidoscope practitioners are child development specialists who have expertise in a specialized discipline such as special education, nursing, social work, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy. The team encourages, supports, and teaches families the strategies and skills they need to address in order for their child to progress to his/her fullest potential.

Each service is individualized to meet the needs of the child and their family. Services are available in a variety of settings including home, daycare, and community centers. Services are provided during weekdays and weekends at a variety of times. Family participation in the Kaleidoscope Early Intervention Program helps a family better understand how they can enhance their child’s development and provide the best foundation for future success.
